Persana connects patients with world-class physicians in aesthetic health. We empower patients to make informed decisions by matching them with the right physician based on their needs, preferences, and goals. Patients can engage in private, on-demand consultations through video or chat, from the comfort of their own homes, with some of the top doctors in the world.

Persana-verified physicians are hand-selected based on their excellence in aesthetic health. These doctors never pay to be featured on the platform, ensuring that we only work with trusted, skilled professionals. Our team maintains close relationships with each physician to provide patients with top-tier care.

Connecting with a physician through Persana gives you immediate access to specialists who may typically have months-long waitlists for in-office appointments. With Persana, consultations are available on-demand and at a reduced cost, offering patients direct communication without the delays or high fees associated with traditional appointments.

You can book a consultation by using our Matching Process, where you’ll be guided through selecting your concerns, treatment preferences, and physician criteria. We’ll then generate a personalized list of physicians for you to connect with. Alternatively, you can visit the Physicians tab, select a specific physician, and choose either a video or message consultation.

The initial consultation is tailored to your needs. You can ask questions about treatments, receive a detailed procedure plan, or discuss any concerns. Physicians will guide the conversation, but ultimately the session is yours to use as you wish, with no strict guidelines.

A video consultation gives you 25 minutes of one-on-one face time with a physician, providing the opportunity for live interaction and detailed discussions. An instant message (or chat) allows you to ask questions and receive a personalized response from the physician within 72 hours. Both offer direct access to expert care, but video is live, while messaging is more flexible and asynchronous.

All consultations through Persana are remote through the platform, either via video or instant message, so you can connect with your physician from anywhere. If you wish to meet with the physician in person after the consultation, we will provide you with their office contact information to schedule an appointment directly.

During your consultation, we recommend discussing next steps with your physician, such as follow-up consultations or in-person visits. After your consultation, Persana will provide you with the physician’s direct contact information for scheduling.

During the Matching Process, you’ll select a specific procedure or area of concern, and we’ll pair you with a physician who specializes in that field. While your consultation is tailored to that specialty, the time is yours, and you’re welcome to discuss any other questions or concerns. However, please note that the physician’s expertise may primarily align with the procedure or area you initially selected, so their ability to provide detailed guidance on unrelated topics may vary.

Persana is continuously expanding, with many physicians currently located in Southern California and New York. While we don’t limit by location, it’s at the discretion of each physician to accept out-of-state patients. You can still connect with physicians outside your area for general advice or to plan your treatment.

You can browse before-and-after photos and other examples of past client work in the Gallery section on our website. These can be filtered by procedure, allowing you to see the results achieved by different physicians and select a physician that fits your desired aesthetic. From there, you can set up a Video Consult or Instant Message the physician directly.

Creating an account with Persana is free. You can sign up by clicking “Login” in the top right corner and following the prompts to create your account. We recommend using a desktop for the best experience.

To create an account, click “Login” in the top right corner of the page, then select “Sign Up.” You’ll be asked to provide some basic information and verify your email address to complete the process.

Since video consultations are on-demand, they cannot be canceled or rescheduled once initiated. If you have specific questions or issues, please fill out our support request form.

No, there’s no limit. You can connect with as many physicians as you like, as often as needed.

There are no fees for using the Persana platform beyond the costs of consultations. Video consultations typically start at $300, while message consultations are $100, but prices may vary depending on the physician.

The intake form collects basic medical, demographic, and lifestyle information that helps physicians prepare for your consultation. This ensures they can provide informed and personalized advice during your session.

All communication happens through the Persana platform. You’ll receive SMS and email notifications when your physician replies to your messages, which you can view by visiting “My Messages” on our website.
